Survivor in Sand Storm

Lone bush atop of the sand dune with blowing sand.

One evening in the Mesquite Sand Dunes of Death Valley a mild wind storm started blowing yielding several images of blowing sand but this image I think is one of the finest. Looking up I saw this bush on top of a dune obscured by the blowing sand. Looking in an unusual direction the Tucki Mountains are in the background I exposed this image.

Lots of things happen in Death Valley and wind is a regular. Erasing foot prints and covering bushes and uncovering others. I was headed in as the wind was getting strong when I looked up and saw this bush on top of the dune. I climbed up the dune and found this angle and this is the result.
